A Non-profit Agency Training Graduate Clinical and Counseling Psychology Students
SCTC: Supports the mental health service needs of non-profit agencies and the families they serve.
Students
Graduate clinical and counseling psychology students, of local accredited universities and colleges, are invited to join our team of future dedicated professionals interested in learning how to provide clinical services to the diverse, under-resourced populations of South Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
Agencies
In 2017 SCTC will celebrate 25 years of collaborative service with various non-profit agencies and their clients. Agencies serving families recovering from domestic violence, those struggling with homelessness, and other under-resourced families benefit from supportive family, group and individual mental health counseling services provided by SCTC interns.
We accept practicum applications for MFT/CFT, LPC and clinical psychology doctoral candidates for Fall and Summer practicum placement. We require a 9-12 month commitment, with at least 10 hours of service per week.
We are an approved CAPIC site. For those doctoral students interested in internship placement, please consult with your Clinical Training Director at your academic institution.
